Jeffrey K. Evans
Jeff
brings experience in a professional specialty and a commitment to model the
theories presented in the workshops. He lives these issues in his own life and at work. Like all Designed Learning Affiliates he treats the client
organization and workshop participants as partners in creating a powerful
learning experience.
Jeff has a rich background in engineering and quality assurance. As a total quality manager for NASA, he is
responsible for strategic planning, organizational assessment, training design
and delivery, and process analysis for civil service/contractor teams.
His
Designed Learning work includes delivering Consulting Skills and Choosing
Accountability workshops. Besides Loral, Johnson Space Center and NASA,
Jeff also works with other Designed Learning clients such as Square D Company,
Shell Oil Company, Shell Chemical Company, Henry Ford Health Systems, Kraft
Canada, Chase Texas Bank and the US Postal Service. Participants in the
workshops he conducts include engineers, managers, secretaries and
technicians. He offers a lot to technical and engineering industries and is drawn toward working with all types
of service industries.
Jeff's training style is
informal and interactive. His aim is to get participants involved in
discussions as early as possible. He
encourages learners to challenge the material and ask questions throughout the
sessions. He "wanders around" the classroom to minimize the physical distance between the participants and
himself. A principal axiom guiding his
workshop leadership is, "don't do anything for an individual at the
expense of the group nor anything for the group at the expense of an
individual."
