Joyce Mitchell
Joyce brings
experience in a professional specialty and a commitment to model the theories
presented in the workshops. She lives these issues in her own life and at work.
Like all Designed Learning Affiliates she treats the client organization and
workshop participants as partners in creating a powerful learning
experience.
Joyce is
highly experienced in human resource administration. She has spent the past 14
years as a consultant with U.S. multinational organizations and local companies
in Brazil. In the U.S., she worked for 6 years with Johnson and Johnson, and 8
years with Levi Strauss International. She has worked in plant and headquarters
environments in all human resource administration functions, including
Affirmative Action Planning. She was the Human Resource Planning and Development
Manager for Canadian, European, Latin American and Asia-Pacific markets.
Previously, she was the Director of Human Resources at Levi Strauss in Brazil
for 7 years.
Joyce has a
Master's in Applied Psychology, with a specialization in educational change
management. She is fluent in Portuguese and English, her native language, and
latent fluency in Spanish, French, and Italian.
