Dan Reid
Dan brings
knowledge in a professional specialty and a commitment to model the theories
presented in the workshops. He lives these issues in his own life and at work. Like all Designed Learning Affiliates, he treats the client organization
and workshop participants as partners in creating a powerful learning
experience.
Dan gained more
than 20 years experience with Ford Motor Company including individual contributor and management positions
within the automotive, semi-conductor, and aerospace industries. Before joining Designed Learning, Dan was
the director of organization development for the Space Mission Systems Division
of Lockheed Martin.
Academically,
Dan has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Illinois State University, a
Master of Business Administration from Regis University, and a Master of
Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University. With
more than 20 years in the field of organization development, Dan consults with
organizations in the areas of organizational design and change management.
His Designed Learning work
includes conducting Flawless Consulting workshops, Building Accountability, and
Managing Differences and Agreements for many organization functions. The Center for Creative Leadership, Eastman
Kodak, NASA, Shell, Texas Instruments, U.S. Postal Service, and Xerox are among
the Designed Learning clients with whom Dan works.
Dan's
major strength is his listening skills and ability to "hear" what
participants are not saying. His training style is aimed at helping
people reach their own conclusions about the content of the courses. This enables participants to increase their
commitment to the choices they make based on their learning.
