Nigel Tanner
Nigel Tanners consulting and training
experience includes an impressive array of clients, ranging from the World Bank
to American Express. Currently, he serves as the director of the BTLi Pty Ltd, a
global consulting company working at the interface of strategy and
implementation. Nigel attained his BA in Organizational Behavior from the
University of Tasmania and went on to earn his MEd in management from the
University of London, where he was one of two Australian Commonwealth Relations
Trust Fellows. His distinguished career includes positions in management and
both internal and external consulting work.
As a highly skilled facilitator, Nigel often
acts as a process consultant. He also has extensive experience in the areas of
community consultation, strategy implementation, leadership and team
development, culture change and change management. His own leadership
experience, his respect for others and his understanding of adult learning
processes have enabled him to develop a strong reputation for delivering
practical and effective programs.
Some additional highlights from his career
include working with the Australian Government to train reviewers for major
infrastructure projects; working with CIBA Visions (Novartis) global Business
Leadership Team on their strategic plan; working with Hewlett Packard in Asia
and the Pacific to train HR managers and working with Medibank Private to
provide ongoing coaching for an executive team undergoing major cultural
changes. Nigels work with TAFE Tasmania resulted in the team twice being
awarded the National Training Provider of the Year.
