Jeff brings extensive professional experience and a commitment to model the theories presented in the workshops. He lives these issues in his own life and at work. Like all Designed Learning Affiliates, he treats the client organization and workshop participants as partners in creating a powerful learning experience.
Jeff has a rich background in organizational development and leadership. He began his career in engineering and quality assurance for NASA where he evolved his expertise in transformational change, strategic planning, organizational assessment and training design/delivery. He spent the last 9 years as an internal organizational development consultant at Chrysler. During that that time he had the opportunity to work with leadership at all levels to develop and implement strategy, performance management systems, and leadership development programs.
His Designed Learning work includes delivering Flawless Consulting, Building Accountability and Commitment, and The Six Conversations that Matter workshops. Jeff works with other Designed Learning clients such as Frito-Lay, Northern Trust, Chrysler, Lexis-Nexis, Shell Oil Company and Johnson & Johnson. Participants in the workshops he conducts include engineers, managers, marketing executives and HR & IT professionals.
Jeff’s training style is informal and interactive. His aim is to get participants involved in discussions as early as possible by creating an atmosphere of conversational learning that rejects the podium and embraces the room. He encourages learners to challenge the material and ask questions throughout the sessions to ensure applicability with their clients. A principal axiom guiding his workshop leadership is, “don’t do anything for an individual at the expense of the group nor anything for the group at the expense of an individual.”
