Bob Daubenmire

Bob is committed to modeling the theories presented in all of the workshops. He lives these issues not only in his work but also in his personal life. Like all Designed Learning Affiliates, he treats the client organization and workshop participants as partners in creating a powerful learning experience.

Bob has over 25 years of experience in the field of organization development, coaching, training and education. He spent 11 of these years as an internal consultant / trainer in the high-tech industry in companies such as Sun Microsystems and Tandem Computers.

In 1993, Bob successfully launched his own consulting firm and joined Designed Learning a year later as an Affiliate Consultant. Throughout his career, he has worked with both domestic and international clients including Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems, TRW, Northrop Grumman, Wells Fargo Bank, Charles Schwab, Bank of America, PG&E, Exxon Oil, Chevron Oil, Microsoft, Aspect, Storage Tech, GE Capitol, Lam Research, Genentech, Disney Studios and a myriad of others. In addition to his US clients, his work has taken him to 25 countries and into 40 international cities. His clients span the globe from the Americas to Canada, Europe, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim.

Bob holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development from San Francisco State University. In addition, he also holds an Instructor Credential from the California Community Colleges and has been an instructor in business and organization development at the community college level. Education is a life long pursuit for Bob which he satisfies by continually seeking new and diverse opportunities for learning through current course work, professional workshops, collaboration with affiliates and the rich learning experiences that come from working with many cultures around the world.

Bob approaches his work by forming a strong partnership with his clients with an emphasis of providing both the theoretical and practical knowledge to assist individuals and organizations in achieving their goals.

Bob’s professional background includes delivering consulting and practical tools regarding: individual coaching, communication skills, individual and organization assessment, process consultation, third party intervention in conflict, problem solving & decision making, strategic planning, team development, change management, facilitation skills, leadership & management skills, constructive conflict, project management, consulting skills, six sigma, and a myriad of others.
