David is a seasoned Senior Organization Development professional with over 20 years of internal and external consulting experience coupled with over 10 years of business operations and finance experience. David has varied areas of expertise including large-scale change initiatives, leadership development, performance consulting and organization and empowered team design.
At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Hawaii and North Carolina David led the OD team during the launch of a culture change initiative which leveraged the on-boarding of a new CEO. In this project, David used the Denison Organizational Culture Model to assess and track the culture change throughout the multi-year initiative. David also worked extensively with redesigning leadership development at Blue Cross Blue Shield that produced exceptional results. After two years, over 80 percent of the leaders had completed the training with 100 percent on track.
Outside of his internal consulting work at Blue Cross Blue Shield, David also has extensive experience working with the Northern California and Nevada territory sales of human resources solutions for Development Dimensions International. In this role, David worked to ensure that the solutions met clients'needs related to assessment, selection, leadership development and organizational change. David worked with a wide range of clients to deliver solutions including BHP, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, Bank of America, Kaiser Permanente and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
David received his Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Irvine and went on to earn his Masters of Science from the University of California at Riverside.
